P.I.D. Radio 10/12/13: Consecrated to an Apparition

POPE FRANCIS will consecrate the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary tomorrow, October 13.  A statue of Our Lady of Fatima, normally kept at the Chapel of Apparitions in Fatima, Portugal, is en route to Rome for the ceremony, which takes place on the 96th anniversary of the so-called Miracle of the Sun.

Interestingly, the Pope has already consecrated his pontificate to Our Lady of Fatima, in a ceremony following mass on May 13 of this year, the 96th anniversary of the first apparition at Fatima.

We don’t doubt people saw something at Fatima, but it wasn’t Mary.

I hate to keep kicking a dead horse, but that isn’t exactly the way I intended the question. Rather, a contingency to my scenario was the idea that there will be some malady introduced, whereupon taking the mark of the beast will be the cure. Consequently, takers of the mark became a Nephilim, like Marzulli and Horn and some others have speculated, making them inherently nonredeemable.

I think it is safe to assume there will be people who are being treated under implied consent at the time of the Anti-Christ. There have always been people in comas or vegetative states. It is unfair to believe that everyone will be 20 to 40 years of age and in perfect health and mental faculty when the Anti-Christ comes, yet when I read most prophecy books, that is what I seem to get from them.

If, Horn and Marzulli is correct, and takers of the mark become unredeemable Nephilim…

… AND a Christian in a coma, or otherwise mentally incapacitated (like Dementia or Alzheimer’s) is given the mark through implied consent…

    … Do they become a Nephilim? …

… And if the answer is Yes, are they damned?…

… if the answer is No, then is worship of the beast a necessary component to become a Nephilim?…

Teen Exorcists was a program shown on the BBC a few weeks ago. I don’t know whether Larson has any discernment to be honest… don’t think he did a good job at all with the girl who thought she was under a curse, or the punk couple either. Not good at all.

Your show is awesome. Gilbert, Marzulli, Dizdar, Haggman and Deyo are all names alit on my little Sansa MP3 player. You all keep me company on my long commute to work (I drive through parts of four counties). I am a convert to Catholicism from a Protestant background. I was once dubious and feaful of these apparitions of the blessed mother until I read their messages. They implore us to worship Jesus (not Mary), to pray and lead a pure life. Visions were a part of both the Old and New Testament church. Why can’t they be a part of ours?

    Hi, John,

Thank you for your kind words! First, let me stress that Sharon and I do not categorically condemn anyone in the Roman Catholic faith, and we have said so many times on the program. We understand, as you appear to, that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Our criticism, which has been aimed at Protestants at least as often as it has against Roman Catholics, is directed at teachings that deviate from scripture.

Sadly, some of the messages received from the apparition at Fatima are not consistent with what is preserved in the Bible. For example, “Mary” calls on humanity to make “reparation for the offenses committed against God.” The children were told to “pray and sacrifice themselves for sinners, in order to save them from hell.”

However, we know that there is nothing we can do to atone for our sins (Romans 3:10-12); that atonement was bought by Jesus Christ through the shedding of His blood on the cross (Ephesians 2:8-9). And there is certainly nothing we can do to save anyone else from their sins.

In addition, there were calls for consecration to her “immaculate heart” (the request with which Pope Francis just complied), praying the Rosary daily, and wearing the brown scapular, which tradition says was handed to Saint Simon Stock by our Lady of Mount Carmel in 1251 along with the promise, “Whosoever dies clothed in this Scapular shall not suffer eternal fire.”

I’m sorry to say so, but that sounds like a magic amulet. We don’t read in the Bible anywhere that wearing a certain token is a free pass out of Hell. We do, however, read that if anyone, even an angel from heaven, preaches a different gospel, they should be anathema — accursed (Galatians 1:6-9).

Good comment Derek. If John listens to Haggman he has undoubtedly heard Steve Quayle and David Lankford unleash on Catholicism. Ditto if he heard the Petrus Romanus podcasts with Horn and Putnam. Russ D.took the new Pope to task the other day. So I find it suspiciously odd that John can listen to all these guys and then openly admit he is mired in the bondage of Catholicism. The Jesus of the Catholic church is incapable of offering salvation. John can go to Sermon Audio and listen to John Macarthur’s messages on Catholicism as well as Mike Hoggard.
