One quick thought on Felicia’s comment, by the way God Bless Felicia. Your comment touched on something I was looking up a little while ago. 1Thess. 4:17 – Most folks know this as a key verse in support of the rapture. Two things I recently discovered about the verse. First is the word “air” used in that verse refers to the Strong’s #109 “air” which means breathe or to exhail. It’s not used to denote a place in the sky such as the heavens. That word would be “ouranos” #3772. Air in this verse more likely is in reference to the breath of life God breathed into Adam – the one that initially gave him and Eve a body not disposed to dying or decomposition.
The second insight with 1 Thess. 4:17 is with the word “clouds”. In the Greek the word does mean a “cloud” as up in the sky, but the author Paul used the cloud in Heb. 12:1 to refer to a large gathering of witnesses for Christ.
It sounds like we’ll join the gathering of witnesses for Christ in the breath of life. That may not be in the sky, but where ever it will be, it will still be an awsome day!
God Bless,
John
The Lord Jesus will be coming on that Beautiful Cloud So So very Soon!
