Just because you write a foreward to appeal to non Christians so they will buy the book, is not being deceptive,it is a marketing tool.The majority of the book was written from a secular perspective and the at the end the Christian perspective was then given. Most UFO followers refuse to even look at another possability,Chuck wanted them to read the book and the come to a conclusion and not reject it out of hand. He didn’t write that it wasn’t a Christian book,that would obviously be a lie and deceptive,he just didn’t overtly emphasize the Christian conclusion and summation of the facts. I know your point and it is a fine line,but I don’t think it was deceptive,no one says you have to put everything about the book in the forward.

I think I know what My Gosh meant by deceiving others. It was probably when Chuck was asking the man writing the forward not to write it like he was a Christian. I LOVE Chuck’s stuff, but that also made me wince a little.

So its okay for Christian to deceive another person, as long as its done in Christ name. You guys were fawning all of this guy like hes a rock star and of course you got to sell, sell those books.
