I had no problems downloading the PID Radio podcast but I had all the above problems trying to download Richard Grund’s latest Firefall Radio podcast.

Good to have the Gilbert’s back. I was beginning to become worried.

I tried to leave a comment about VFTB 133 but I couldn’t seem to prove I was human.

Anyway it was a good show but I would like to hear Mike having a discussion with Russ Dizdar ,Richard Grund and others who get up close and personal with the Demonic Realm. Theory versus Practice so to speak. Basically is Mike an armchair general?

Hi Derek- one thought too would be to compress the files to about 10 MB rather than 50 MB. I’ve listened to many hour-long podcasts that size that still sound perfect to me. (Great show this week by the way)

I’m not sure what the problem is. The file is fine. Our Internet connection is 22Mbps down tonight, but the mp3 downloads at about 25kbps. It’s still downloading slowly, but I played it for over 10 minutes without hiccups. My guess is that our hosting company has slowed down the download speed of the mp3 file for some reason.

Dan – it took me about 4 hours to download on my 20 Mb connection. I think the server must get overloaded when new shows are released.
