I just don’t see how a man coming on the scene claiming to be Jesus, the Mahdi, and the Jewish Messiah would be convincing most of the world’s Christians. True, I think there might be some really liberal Christians who are more than willing to sacrifice the tenets of Christianity to achieve religious “unity” with all the world’s religions that might buy into such a deception.

Whatever his deception is, the Bible says that even the elect would be deceived. For me, the deception must be more subtle for the Church to be on board with the deception. I know of no Christian who would buy into the appearance of a man claiming to be Jesus, the Jewish Messiah, and the Islamic Mahdi.

In order to deceive the mass of Christians, the anti-Christ will need to blindside them. The Christians must not have an inkling of deception until they are in it up to their nostrils.

Similar to the way most Christians today have no idea that their church’s and their own Christian ideology is infected with Humanism, which can lead to temporal errors like Dominionism and Blab-it, Grab-it doctrines, on the temporal level, and that Christ is simply a means to an end (salvation) on the eternal level. It is completely transparent to them.
