MEET THE new Slenderman–an evil clown named Laughing Jack.
A 12-year old Indiana girl, diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder, is being held at a juvenile detention center after allegedly stabbing her 50-year-old stepmother to death and setting their apartment on fire. Why did she do it? To please Laughing Jack.
Her case is eerily similar to the Slenderman murders in Wisconsin last year. We speculate on the spiritual causes behind this tragedy and discuss the concept of the tulpa, essentially an imaginary friend that comes to life.
Also: What’s the deal with the new short film produced by Pepsi, Black Knight Decoded? It uses the myth of the Black Knight satellite to float a message of global unity (and membership in a galactic brotherhood).
