IT’S SURPRISING how often otherwise respectable news outlets publish stories with little verification. Some are difficult to take seriously, such as the alleged werewolf prowling the streets of Ceilândia, Brazil, and some are intended mainly to raise questions (especially about human origins), such as the “Stonehenge in space” report about Comet 67-P.
We also discuss Buzz Aldrin’s interesting expense report for Apollo 11, advances in genetics that could lead to really creepy mind control, the Blue Moon Murders in Escambia County, Florida, and how Black Hat hackers have figured out how to get your washing machine to spy on you.
By the way: Derek was almost right about the Philae lander on Comet 67-P. The probe is looking for organic molecules (which means anything with carbon atoms), but the request of Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe to include a test for microbial life was denied during the planning stage of the mission 15 years ago.

]]>HAPPY THANKSGIVING! We’re back after a week away for work around the house and a wonderful visit with family.
Our focus today was on The Manhattan Declaration, a position paper issued Nov. 20, 2009 by a group of prominent Christian leaders. In short, the declaration calls Orthodox, Catholic, and evangelical Christians to defend the sanctity of human life, the dignity of marriage, and the rights of conscience and religious liberty.
Those are unquestionably values on which Christians can agree — but is it a statement of faith or a dominionist political platform? (The full list of religious leaders who’ve signed the declaration is here; read John MacArthur’s response to the declaration here.)
Also: The Family supports draconian anti-homosexual laws in Uganda; US and Iran in naval faceoff near Yemen; Blackwater’s secret war in Pakistan; the president’s surge in Afghanistan; and a brief review of The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown.

Also: Darwin debunked again; Freemasonry and magic squares; Freemasons on the Moon; and the end of the world is postponed until Christmas.

]]>IT’S A BITTER PILL for American Christians to swallow, but our country is, like every other nation on Earth, under the dominion of the enemy. And all of the “God bless Americas” spoken by our politicians don’t change the disturbing fact that an awful lot of pagan imagery and symbolism is on display — and even designed into — our government buildings.
Stephen Michael Schroeder stumbled onto this unpleasant reality nearly 20 years ago in Indianapolis, just half an hour from where we now produce this program. For example, the Indiana War Memorial is essentially a pagan shrine, tied in its imagery to the Washington Monument, another obelisk on the 39th Parallel.
It’s design is based on the original mausoleum, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Tomb of Maussollos at Halicarnassus. Not coincidentally, so is the design of the House of the Temple, the headquarters of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Southern Jurisdiction, U.S.A., in Washington, DC — also on the 39th Parallel.
Stephen’s mission to alert our elected officials and fellow believers in Jesus Christ to this unofficially official support of paganism has resulted in the loss of at least two jobs, jail time, and the threat of having his children taken away by the state.
