P.I.D. Radio 1/20/24: Disease X

ONE OF THE ISSUES discussed by the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland this week is preparing for “Disease X.”

It’s important to remember that Disease X doesn’t exist. It’s a hypothetical pathogen that may someday pose a threat to humanity. It’s also important to note that the WEF, the World Health Organization, UNESCO, and other globalist organizations want us to know that they need to control what information you can access because mis-, dis-, and malinformation can literally kill you.

Sharon shares her observations on the 2018 Clade X tabletop exercise held at Johns Hopkins and whether any lessons were actually learned by the US government, and we discuss a report on research in China with a pangolin coronavirus that reportedly killed 100% of the humanized mice in the study. Apparently, that’s not unusual for that type of experiment, but it does raise concerns about ongoing gain-of-function research.

We also discuss the tangled situation in the wider Middle East as Iran and nuclear-armed Pakistan traded airstrikes this week, the Houthi government of Yemen declared it’s shutting down the Red Sea to shipping, and a report that Joe Biden and Benjamin Netanyahu aren’t talking to one another after a tense phone call in December.

UPDATE: After our recording, Israeli media reported that Netanyahu and Biden just spoke for the first time in 27 days. No details on the call, but the call was reportedly “held in good spirits.”

P.I.D. Radio 6/24/23: The Only Winners are the Bankers

A COUP appears to be underway in Russia as we record this program. Yevgheny Prigozhin, head of the Wagner Group, is leading an armed force of 25,000 mercenaries toward Moscow. His convoy has reportedly been fired on by Russian helicopters and artillery.

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin addressed his nation Friday, calling the armed rebellion a “stab in the back,’ promising to punish Prigozhin. However, this plays out, it’s the biggest threat to Putin’s power since he first became president twenty years ago.

This story is changing rapidly and may be obsolete by the time this episode is uploaded. As of 10:30 AM CDT (UTC -6), Wagner vehicles are reportedly just six hours from Moscow.

We discuss the difficulty in knowing what’s going on in Ukraine, how the sudden turmoil in Russia may affect the war, and how the delivery of tactical nuclear weapons to Putin’s ally, Alexander Lukashenko, in neighboring Belarus may change the dynamics on the battlefield. There is a danger that rogue military units in eastern Europe end up in possession of nuclear weapons.

In short, the situation bears a lot of disturbing parallels to things in that part of the world a century ago—the time of World War 1.

We also discuss the undercover video released by James O’Keefe this week of a recruiter from BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, going on at length about how the war in Ukraine is great for business. It’s a timely bombshell, since the only winners in war are the bankers.

Also: While the world watches Ukraine, another 700 Christians killed by Muslims in Nigeria; erasing history to set up the New World Order; AI is spying on you; and the United Nations plan to roll out a digital ID tied to individuals’ bank accounts.

TECH VISIONARIES Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman are among a group that’s announced a new non-profit artificial intelligence startup. The goal, apparently, is to make sure the first true AI is “good”, and its backers say they’ve committed $1 billion to the project.

This is an interesting development, considering that Musk previously compared building an artificial intelligence to “summoning the demon.”

Also: Prophecies of a Muslim caliphate and the return of Messiah by mystics Baba Vanga and the Vilna Gaon; bulk purchases of prepaid cell phones and stolen propane tanks have Missouri on edge; tangled alliances in the Middle East; and Israel trains against the anti-aircraft missile system Russia sold to Iran.

Threat or viral marketing?

A CREEPY new video featuring a hooded character, dressed like a medieval plague doctor, presents a dark puzzle that apparently threatens U.S. President Barack Obama. As of today, nobody seems to know who created the video and what it really means.

ASTROPHYSICISTS ARE apparently beginning to rethink the idea of the Big Bang. A pair of researchers claimed this week that quantum mechanics suggest that the universe has always existed. The fact that erasing a starting point for the universe eliminates the need for a Creator is probably not coincidental.

Also: Virtual reality goes mainstream as Google and Mattel counter Facebook’s purchase of Oculus with a VR Viewmaster; warfighting robots; Homeland Security takes over cybersecurity; religion and AI; shifting political sands in the Middle East; and bogus photos support claims of Russian military in Ukraine.

P.I.D. Radio 6/22/14: Spiritual Tipping Point

SOMETHING HAS changed in the last couple of years, and it feels as though we in the United States–and maybe the nations of the world in general–are on the downward side of a spiritual tipping point. Another mainline Christian denomination has just affirmed homosexual marriage, and earlier this year business owners in New Mexico and Colorado were told they had to provide services for ceremonies against their wishes, even though they believe gay marriage is contrary to scripture.

Meanwhile, transhumanism continues to move into the mainstream. The worldview of the transhumanist movement, to put it simply, is 180 degrees from that of Christianity.

And the situation in the Middle East continues to take a heavy toll on the oldest Christian communities in the world. At least the mainstream media has finally taken notice that areas evangelized in the first century have basically been cleansed of Christians — by militants armed by the United States and its allies.

Also: PCUSA divests from Israel; free will an illusion, says science; Google invests half a billion dollars in a startup company that makes home surveillance cameras; and a discussion of the lateness of the hour.

AN UGLY scenario is playing out in Iraq. An al-Qaeda linked group, the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), has essentially invaded Iraq from Syria and is on the verge of launching a battle for Baghdad. News reports from the region depict ISIS as a brutal terror organization, leaving a trail of beheaded bodies in its wake.

But until recently, we in the West were sending these guys money and weapons to help them fight against the government of Bashar al-Assad in Syria. What in the world is going on over there?

Also: Turkey shuts off the Euphrates River; child immigrant crisis along America’s southern border; Ebola and chikungunya spreading; and meet the exorcists next door.

P.I.D. Radio 7/13/13: Of (Genetically Engineered) Mice and Men

RESEARCHERS IN England announced this week the creation of genetically-engineered mice with artificial human chromosomes in every cell of their bodies. The government there has pledged tens of millions of pounds to synthetic biology research, including an international project to construct all 16 chromosomes of yeast to produce the first synthetic organism with a complex genome.

The pitch is that the research will yield exciting new gene therapies, and it may. But transgenic mice (or pigs, goats, and cattle) with human genetic material raises some disturbing questions. Who takes the fall?

AN INTERESTING thing emerged into public view last week during congressional hearings and the vice presidential debate: The State Department and the White House are playing a game of C.Y.A. regarding the deadly attack on the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya. The question is whether President Obama or Secretary of State Clinton will take the fall.

Both parties seem willing to let the other do the honors.

Elsewhere: Turks and Syrians edge closer to war; Sen. Arlen Specter dies; Barack Obama’s “no god but Allah” ring; BBC film crew detained at Area 51; and the Brits develop anti-alien weapons.

Note: We received this email from Rabbi Michael Bugg on 10/15/12 which clarifies the point we tried to make about President Obama’s ring:

Assuming you didn’t get the answer later in the show, the Biblical equivalent to the Shahad would be the Shema (Deu. 6:4):

Shema Yisrael, Adonai Eloheynu, Adonai Echad.
Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One.

Obviously, I’m substituting “Adonai” (“the Lord”) for the Tetragramaton here. Alternatively, you could translate it,

Hear O Israel, the Eternal One is our God, the Eternal One alone.

The very next verse is, “And you shall love the Lord your God . . .” Yeshua quoted both the Shema and the next verse together when asked what the most important commandment is in Mark 12[:29-31]. From that I would argue that the Shema is not only the most important creed in Judaism, but that it should be to Christians as well–and that if a Christian were to have it on a ring (and I know several that do) that it would not be a problem at all.

The problem with a Christian wearing or stating the Shahad, even if it doesn’t contain the second clause regarding Mohammed (and in this case, I’d want to see the inside of the ring’s band) is that in Islamic theology, Allah is not only a general word for “God,” but is also the personal name of the God of Islam, in opposition to the Tetragramaton, which is the personal name of the God of Judaism and Christianity. Therefore to wear it or say it is to declare that there is no god but the one proclaimed by Mohammed–whose personal attributes as described in the Quran are precisely opposite of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Just my two cents.
