It sounds like something from a tabloid, but Doug Woodward, author of Power Quest Book Two: The Ascendancy of Antichrist in America, presents evidence that these seemingly unconnected things are indeed tied together — and all linked to a disturbing spiritual arc that may lead to the rise of the Antichrist in this so-called Christian nation.

THE DARK and disturbing stories we’ve seen in the news in 2012–for example, more than a dozen incidents in the U.S. alone of crazed, naked assailants trying to eat their victims–may be nothing compared to what lies ahead.

Russ Dizdar of Shatter the Darkness Ministries sat down with Derek at the Prophecy Summit in July to discuss his work as a deliverance minister and what he’s learned from the demonically possessed and oppressed about an event they call the “black awakening“.

Russ will speak at the Nephilim Mounds Conference in Newark, Ohio September 28-30, 2012, and at the Spiritual Warfare in the Last Days Conference October 5-7, 2012 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

P.I.D. Radio 2/19/12: A Trillion Here, A Trillion There…

SOMETIMES WE come across stories that seem important and connected, but we just can’t get our minds completely around them. Try these on for size.

Lord James of Blackheath, whom you might remember for his “Foundation X” speech in 2010 (link opens YouTube video), stated in the House of Lords Thursday (2/16) that he’s been investigating for the last two years an attempted fraud or money laundering scheme, possibly involving the government of the U.S. or the Federal Reserve Bank, in the neighborhood of $15 trillion. (The 2012 budget of the United States, by comparison, is about $3.8 trillion.)
Eight people were arrested in Italy Friday (2/17) in possession of $6 trillion in counterfeit U.S. bonds. That’s double the size of Italy’s national debt (and again, nearly double the annual budget of the U.S.).
A quick look through Google News reveals a number of arrests for trafficking in large quantities of counterfeit U.S. government bonds ($134 billion in Italy, $875 billion in Malaysia, $2 trillion in the Philippines, etc.) over the past ten years.

If we assume that some counterfeiters actually get away with their crimes, we have to wonder: How much phony U.S. debt is out there? How much of it is in the hands of supposedly stable financial institutions? Is any of it actually being circulated intentionally by those institutions? And how does that affect the state of the global economy?

The mind reels.

DEPENDING ON who you believe, either fewer than 500 or upwards of 50,000 descended on Wall Street Saturady for the US Day of Rage. Media outlets were either biased or bored. We’ll see what happens Monday morning — or watch for yourself online.

Meanwhile, Glenn Beck launched GBTV on the web this week. It took one day for Beck to equate people who question the official story of 9/11 with radical Islamists. Thanks, Glenn.

THERE ARE days when the headlines make you wish for Christ’s return even more than usual. Today, we discuss the convicted murderer who posts to Facebook from prison, security contractor DynCorp’s latest link to the sex trade (read the report by Frontline on Afghan “dancing boys”, and watch the Frontline program online free at PBS.org), the bizarre rape and stabbing in Vacaville, California, and the Federal Aviation Administration, which has somehow managed to lose track of who owns a third of the aircraft in the United States.

Keep that in mind the next time you’re asked to step in front of an airport X-ray machine.

TWO YEARS ago, a BBC cameraman caught a bizarre scene on tape: twin 40-year-old sisters from Sweden walking along the shoulder of the M6 motorway who deliberately ran into traffic when approached by police. This began a bizarre series of events that led to one of the sisters hospitalized after being run over by a truck and the other stabbing a man to death, running from police while hitting herself on the head with a hammer and jumping from a 40-foot bridge onto another roadway!

And then last month, 29-year old Australian twins who tried to commit suicide together at a shooting range near Columbine High School in Colorado. Just what is going on here?

We feature a bit of audio from WWII veteran William Harvey of Indianapolis, who was on his way to Sunday school when the bombs began to fall on Pearl Harbor. THE WIKILEAKS story continues to build, even though the more we poke at its roots, the more it looks like something other than a real security breach. Consider: the man who ratted out Pfc. Bradley Manning, Adrian Lamo, is a gray hat hacker who turned Manning in after spending nine involuntary days in California’s mental health system for Asperger’s Syndrome.

Now, we’re not disparaging anyone who genuinely suffers from the condition, only pointing out that a loose definition of Asperger’s can be applied to almost anyone who was ever described as a geek. (And if that’s grounds for institutionalizing someone, then we’re a phone call away from being locked up.)

Consider also that WikiLeaks’ founder Julian Assange is accused of a sex crime in Sweden (not rape, as has been reported, but for something called “sex by surprise” — i.e., a malfunctioning condom) by a woman who apparently worked with a CIA-linked group in Cuba. And note that Lamo admittedly works for a semi-secret government contractor called Project Vigilant.

All in all, this looks like a controlled leak or an intelligence turf war. The question, as always: who benefits?

P.I.D. Radio 8/29/09: Hearing Voices

NO, HEARING voices definitely isn’t a good sign. After learning about the horrific story of Angelo Mendoza, the man who’s accused of biting out the eyes of his 4-year-old son, we noticed a low-level meme running through the news — literally dozens of stories in recent weeks about crimes from murder to rape to arson to suicide allegedly committed by people who claim to hear voices.

The medical community will no doubt attribute the claims to schizophrenia or attempts to build a criminal defense by claiming insanity. But why do all of these reports involve voices urging people to commit acts of violence on others? Why don’t these voices ever encourage people to love their neighbors, study hard and turn in homework assignments on time, or dress warmly and eat lots of vegetables?

Our belief is that at least some of these people really are hearing voices, and those voices aren’t coming from beings loyal to God.

FROM the director of The Day After Tomorrow and Independence Day comes 2012, a film about the end of the world in — you guessed it — 2012. If nothing else, those clever Mayans have provided fodder for another big-screen depiction of global CGI devastation.

Interestingly, back up 1,260 days — 3-1/2 years — from 12/21/12 and you arrive at July 10, 2009, which was the original release date for 2012.
