We spent yesterday and today down in southern Indiana, celebrating Derek’s 46th birthday and returning with a cattle trailer full of furniture that relatives generously contributed to the new bunker. Derek’s shoulder is starting to complain; the heaviest thing he’s had to carry for the last few months is numbers into the next column for addition.<\/p>\n
We’d planned a show for this week devoted to the first official skirmishes in the 2008 presidential war, the mysterious spread of norovirus and chikungunya, and President Bush’s upcoming visit to Israel — but it will have to wait until next week.<\/p>\n
