TONIGHT’S show illustrates what happens when you go against the wishes of the power elite.

Paul Collins, co-author of the excellent book The Ascendancy of the Scientific Dictatorship with his brother Phillip, tells the stories of the dramatic falls from power of former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer and international gun runner Viktor Bout. It turns out these seemingly unconnected cases are being prosecuted by the same man, and apparently for the same reason: they wouldn’t play ball.
