BEN STEIN surely knew when he decided to produce his new film Expelled<\/em> that he’d be subjected to public ridicule. Since the film’s debut, he’s been pilloried by scientists, atheists, and educators on blogs, in print, and on radio and TV.<\/p>\n

Phillip Collins, co-author with his brother Paul of the excellent book The Ascendancy of the Scientific Dictatorship: An Examination of Epistemic Autocracy, From the 19th to the 21st Century<\/em>, joined us to explain why Darwinists have responded to Expelled<\/em> with, well, religious fervor.<\/p>\n
