A CHURCH founded by Sun Myung Moon are inviting couples to a blessing ceremony this coming Wednesday for their “rods of iron” — defined as an AR-15 or equivalent.<\/p>\n

According to the church’s press release:<\/p>\n

If unable to purchase and legally transport such a \u201crod of iron\u201d because of laws barring the purchase of such weapons, or other reasons, couples are invited to purchase a $700 gift certificate from a gun store, as evidence of their intent to purchase a \u201crod of iron\u201d in the future.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We’re all about Second Amendment rights here, but that’s not what the phrase means in the Bible.<\/p>\n
