This is P.I.D. 101, a primer in the nature of the spiritual war in which we find ourselves.  To wit: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What is the Divine Council?<\/li>\n<li>What implications does the Divine Council model have for Christian theology?<\/li>\n<li>How does this affect our lives?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In a nutshell, the Divine Council is the group of divine beings &#8212; <i>seraphim<\/i>, <i>cherubim<\/i>, and <i>malakim<\/i> &#8212; who make up the court of God.  It&#8217;s referenced most notably in I Kings 22:19-23 and Psalm 82.<br \/>\nThe rebellion of the fallen angels has taken place in several stages: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The &#8220;serpent&#8221; in Eden;<\/li>\n<li>The Watchers of Genesis chapter 6, whose interaction with human women produced the Nephilim;<\/li>\n<li>The seventy &#8220;sons of God&#8221; (<i>bene elohim<\/i>) who were placed over the nations after the incident at the Tower of Babel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Those 70 <i>bene elohim<\/i> became the gods of the nations around the ancient Hebrews: Marduk, Molech, Chemosh, Baal, Asherah, Dagon, and the rest.  They are still with us, and their goal is the destruction of mankind. <\/p>\n<p>In addition to his biblical studies, Mike is the author of <i>The Facade<\/i>, a mind-blowing novel that includes his research in great detail.
