Believe it or not, we just learned about this dark and disturbing film from the brilliant mind of Sidney Lumet (he also directed ‘Twelve Angry Men’, ‘Network’, and ‘Dog Day Afternoon’). Henry Fonda gives a realistic portrayal of a cold-war president forced into a horrifying political corner. If you grew up during the 1960s as Sharon did — you’ll recall the tension of those years.
