34 militants were killed in the strikes carried out in retaliation for the attack on the US base in Jordan that left three American soldiers dead and another 40 injured. The attack reportedly destroyed the headquarters of the People’s Mobilization Committee in Anbar province, a group actively involved in fighting a resurgent Islamic State. (And there are unconfirmed reports that the US is helping ISIS reestablish a presence in Iraq.)
The question now is whether this leads to an escalation in violence in a region already on edge because of the Israel-Hamas war.

]]>It’s important to remember that Disease X doesn’t exist. It’s a hypothetical pathogen that may someday pose a threat to humanity. It’s also important to note that the WEF, the World Health Organization, UNESCO, and other globalist organizations want us to know that they need to control what information you can access because mis-, dis-, and malinformation can literally kill you.
Sharon shares her observations on the 2018 Clade X tabletop exercise held at Johns Hopkins and whether any lessons were actually learned by the US government, and we discuss a report on research in China with a pangolin coronavirus that reportedly killed 100% of the humanized mice in the study. Apparently, that’s not unusual for that type of experiment, but it does raise concerns about ongoing gain-of-function research.
We also discuss the tangled situation in the wider Middle East as Iran and nuclear-armed Pakistan traded airstrikes this week, the Houthi government of Yemen declared it’s shutting down the Red Sea to shipping, and a report that Joe Biden and Benjamin Netanyahu aren’t talking to one another after a tense phone call in December.
UPDATE: After our recording, Israeli media reported that Netanyahu and Biden just spoke for the first time in 27 days. No details on the call, but the call was reportedly “held in good spirits.”

Litvinenko died in 2006 at the age of 44, poisoned with radioactive polonium-210. Reports indicate that Litvinenko, who had defected to England, was killed after exposing links between the Russian mafia’s illegal drug trade and associates of Vladimir Putin.

]]>RUSSIA AND Iran have sent troops to a battle for Syria’s largest city, Aleppo. (So has Cuba, according to some reports.) There are a couple of implications to this battle, which began yesterday: Since Aleppo borders on the “Islamic State-free zone” proclaimed by Turkey and the U.S. last month, will the NATO allies have a problem when Russian tanks roll in?
More significantly, the IS-free zone (which is definitely not IS-free) includes Dabiq, the village where the Islamic State believes it will fight a climactic battle against the forces of Rome (Christendom) before they go on to establish the global caliphate. How will the IS respond?

]]>PRESIDENT OBAMA has appointed an “Ebola Czar”, but rather than a medical professional the president has selected Ron Klain, an attorney and influential operative within the Democrat Party. We find this odd, as the Department of Health and Human Services already has an Assistant Secretary for Readiness and Response, Dr. Nicole Lurie, who holds the rank of Rear Admiral.
The mission of the ASPR is “to lead the nation in preventing, responding to and recovering from the adverse health effects of public health emergencies and disasters, ranging from hurricanes to bioterrorism.” Not to pick nits, but doesn’t the current Ebola situation fit her job description?

]]>HISTORY seems to be the theme of today’s show, although that wasn’t our intent when we hit “record”. We talked about a couple of movies we watched over the weekend, which both featured missions to destroy an ancient buried evil that wants to emerge into the light of day to destroy mankind (and both of which starred Ron Perlman of the Hell Boy movies, oddly enough).
We agree–Mutant Chronicles was better than The Devil’s Tomb, which failed to deliver on the intriguing premise of a team of scientists stumbling onto the Abyss in the Iraqi desert. Even the frozen nephilim that was a dead ringer for an alien gray didn’t help.

And here are the verses Derek couldn’t remember:
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
John 1:1-5 (ESV)
But at least the bunker’s gas service has been restored, and we didn’t even have to suffer through weeks of ear-splitting rock music blaring from speakers behind a police barricade while black helicopters hover overhead. So we’ve got that going for us.
