ONE OF the most encouraging things of the Christian faith is the promise of Christ’s return. So why do so many churches avoid the subject of prophecy?

Joining us for a special edition of P.I.D. Radio are the founders of a new ministry, Prophecy Watchers: Pastor, author (Time Travelers of the Bible: How the Hebrew Prophets Shattered the Barriers of Time-Space), and television host Gary Stearman and “Partner/Servant” Bob Ulrich. They discuss the importance of studying prophecy, the direction of their new ministry, and the blessed hope that comes from knowing our redemption draws near.

P.I.D. Radio 2/17/13: Fire in the Sky

IT’S BEEN an odd week. Following the surprise announcement of Pope Benedict’s resignation, a spectacular fireball streaked across the Siberian sky, injuring some 1,200 people when the meteorite exploded in the atmosphere with the force of about 30 Hiroshima bombs.

Besides that, a geneticist issued a statement claiming that she had solid DNA proof of the existence of a novel primate species: Homo sapiens cognatus — AKA Bigfoot.

Also: Killer asteroid in 2106 (or not, depending on who you believe); Pope appoints member of Knights of Malta to head Vatican bank; a seat for the Vatican at King David’s tomb; “Blade Runner” charged with murder; new outbreak of bird flu in Mexico; black magic in Africa; and Radford University offers independent study in necromancy.

IN LIEU of our take on the news this week — we really don’t want to rehash the political conventions — we decided to bring back an interview from our first year on the web.

In the fall of 2005, in the middle of the most intense Atlantic hurricane season ever (Katrina, Rita, and Wilma are, as of this writing, three of the six most intense hurricanes recorded) and following a destructive earthquake in Pakistan that killed an estimated 75,000 people, we spoke with Stan Deyo, CEO of Halo Orbital Technologies. His life story reads like a sci-fi thriller — except that readers might find the plot too “out there” even for fiction.

His resume includes Above Top Secret security clearance, undercover work for the FBI, and work on a black budget project developing “flying saucer” propulsion technology under Dr. Edward Teller.

He’s also a computer programmer in seven languages, the author of two books and five scientific papers, a university lecturer in 3D computer animation and graphic art, and an amateur archeologist in the Middle East where he believes he’s found the location of the Garden of Eden. (We didn’t even get a chance to talk about that.)

Stan discussed his earthquake prediction maps, which are based on ocean temperature data provided by the U.S. Navy. He’s been accurate approaching 80 to 90 percent of the time, to the point that it appears the Navy is withholding information from Stan from time to time. We got his assessment of the killer quake in Pakistan.

He also talked about his work on anti-gravity, research that almost got him killed at the bottom of a mile-deep mine shaft in Australia. Stan says this technology is in use today, but not by any national government. Governments change, but the men and women who hold real power in this world pass it down from generation to generation and they have no national loyalties.

And we’ll mention again, in the public interest, that Stan does not recommend anti-gravity as a safe elementary school science project.

P.I.D. Radio 3/11/12: Massacre in Kandahar

AN AMERICAN soldier is in custody after allegedly breaking into a number of homes in a village near Kandahar early Sunday and killing 16 people, nine of them children.Coming after a wave of violence against U.S. and NATO troops, this may further inflame the population against coalition forces. It seems to us that continued occupation of Afghanistan serves no real purpose.

Also: McCain stumps for war against Syria; Panetta says the president only needs “international permission” to attack; Pentagon gives Boeing $80 million to build a better MOP to clean out Iran’s nuclear bunkers; State Department gives Camp Liberty in Iraq to MEK — which is on its list of foreign terror organizations; Greece officially defaults; SPLC claims 755% growth in American militias since Obama took office (link to report PDF file); and unexplained explosion caught on Phoenix TV traffic report.

P.I.D. Radio 1/15/12: Israel, Iran, and the USA

ONE OF the world’s most dangerous professions right now has to be Iranian nuclear scientist. Four have been assassinated in the last two years, and the Iranian government claims to have evidence that the U.S. is responsible for the latest killing.

Meanwhile, Foreign Policy, the official magazine of the Council on Foreign Relations, has published an expose of a false flag operation by the Mossad in which Israeli intelligence operatives posing as CIA agents recruited (Sunni) Pakistani terrorists to strike at (Shia) Iran’s nuclear program. In other words, it appears that Israel may have wanted to draw the US into a war by prompting Iran to retaliate against American assets. In response, a joint military exercise between Israel and the US scheduled for spring as apparently been canceled.

Also: Mystery illness strikes teen girls in LeRoy, New York; Russia’s Mars probe crashes to Earth; S&P downgrades Europe; and 10 reasons the US is no longer the land of the free.

P.I.D. Radio 11/13/11: The Enemy’s War on Children

THE MOST compelling news item of the week was the indictment of former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky on charges that he sexually abused boys as young as age 10 over a number of years. It appears that the school administration was aware of these allegations more than a dozen years ago — but that Sandusky still had access to school facilities for years, and may still have been — according to this story from Greenville, South Carolina — active in recruiting high school players as late as this spring!

Children are a special target of the Enemy, as stories like this, the Franklin Cover-Up, and the pedophile priest scandal make clear.

Also: Explosions in Iran; Syria vs. the Arab League; a smallpox boondoggle; radiation in the air over Europe; EU dictatorship; military mortuary landfill; Canada’s Loch Ness Monster on tape; and Noah Primeval.

ANOTHER MYSTERY foot has washed ashore near Vancouver. This makes 11 severed human feet in the last four years. Police in British Columbia have ruled out foul play. (Huh?)

A SENSATIONAL Internet story popped up on MSNBC yesterday, as a picture from China that appears to show two suns has circulated around the web. Don’t panic; this is a atmospheric phenomenon that’s been seen and photographed around the world for years.

Also: another teen hanging suicide in Bridgend, Wales; Rick Warren welcomes Tony Blair to Saddleback; British special forces captured by Libyan rebels; and the case against allowing condemned prisoners to donate organs.

P.I.D. Radio 1/7/11: Your Phone is Spying on You

WE LOVE technology, but we’d be naive not to recognize how it’s being used against us. For example, Apple filed a patent application in August for a phone that monitors its user’s voice print, heartbeat, and facial features — and compares pictures of its surroundings and recordings of a vehicle’s engine with ones in memory! — to determine whether it’s been stolen.

While this sounds like a great security feature, it doesn’t take much imagination to see how useful this is to a national security apparatus that doesn’t need a warrant to download this data from your phone company.

Also: a million pigs buried alive in South Korea; the son of the Shah of Iran commits suicide; and Ted Williams, the prodigal son with the golden voice, returns home.

RATHER THAN repeat ourselves tonight by doing a show and then another show, we’ve decided to just take it on the road and feature the hour we were honored to spend as guests on Raiders News Live with our friends, Tom and Nita Horn — and, of course, the “Wild Man of the Ozarks”, Joe Ardis.

Tom and company pretty much gave us free rein to discuss today’s NASA “astrobiology” discovery, the proposed Edgar Mitchell/Billy Meier forum, alien disclosure, the alleged Gulf of Aden stargate, transhumanism, pandemics, and our panoptic society. It’s a wild hour, and the high point may be Sharon’s speculation about why DARPA’s X-37B space drone has been orbiting Earth for nine months.

REBELLION AGAINST the full-body X-ray scanners at American airports continues to grow. Apparently fighting terror in the air means a choice between risking skin cancer or a sexual assault by a TSA employee.

Also: media continues to sell the “missile was a plane” meme; the first study of links between pesticides and disappearing bees ready to begin; and big money backs a treatment for smallpox — which the World Health Organization declared eradicated more than 30 years ago!
