PRESIDENT OBAMA has delayed his trip to Copenhagen until the final day of the climate talks, apparently banking on his personal charisma to bring home a climate change agreement with teeth in spite of the Climategate revelations of scientific impropriety. It’s an attempt to bring us another step closer to a global government.

THE NEWS is enough to drive you into a deep blue funk: the signing of the hate crimes bill; banksters betting on you to lose your house and then die; and Russia simulating a nuclear attack on Poland.

If that isn’t enough, cattle are being mutilated with surgical precision in Georgia.

Instead of fixating on these things, which Christ told us to expect, take a break and remember the words of Paul:

[W]hatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

NO MATTER what they call it — “public option”, “consumer option”, socialism, fascism — the end will be the same: more control in fewer hands. It’s been coming for two thousand years, but we know who wins in the end.
