THE MEDIA is calling the group rounded up in Michigan over the weekend a Christian militia. A few minutes on the website of the Hutaree is enough to show that this group represents Christ no more than Britney Spears represents the Mickey Mouse Club.
Still, that’s the meme we’ve heard for the last couple of years: angry white (Christian) men are a threat to the republic because they can’t deal with people who are different.
Sadly, some of us fall for that bait and really do get angry; others turn away from Christ’s prime directive to preach the gospel and make disciples, and instead try to make politics their ministry. Either way, we’ve been diverted from our true mission which is exactly what the powers and principalities want.
Also: Egypt, Babel, and Eridu; the numbers of the health care bill; terror in Moscow; Israel training for…something; more theopolitical rallies with evangelicals and New Apostles; and the World Wildlife Fund hopes to find billions growing on trees.

WHEN Wall Street Journal columnist Brett Arends recently advised “Americans to start stockpiling food”, he was met with derision from the talking heads on cable news shows. But a global food shortage is something that was prophesied by Jesus through the apostle John nearly 2,000 years ago.
We see signs that look like the beginning of just such a shortage, from skyrocketing commodity prices to news that some Sam’s Club, Costco, and BJ’s wholesale outlets are limiting bulk purchases of flour and rice. This may be the first food rationing in the U.S. since World War II.
The bottom line is that this will happen sooner or later. The question is, are you ready? And we’re not talking about a full pantry.

But according to some, including today’s guest Dr. Michael Lynch, powerful elites behind the scenes want to replace those dollars in your wallet with a new currency called the “Amero”.

]]>Thank you to everyone sent notes of support. It’s truly humbling to know that this little homegrown show has reached around the world.
We hope you had a chance to see The State Within on BBC America Saturday. The miniseries was a well-written and tightly directed political thriller that offers a glimpse into what might happen inside the halls of power in Washington, D.C. Wars are basically marketing ploys to drum up business for the military industrial complex back here at home.
Meanwhile, it’s back to blather on the news of the day. A remarkable development that has been little noticed by the major media: A group of American generals has apparently let it be known that they will quit if President Bush orders an attack on Iran. In addition, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Peter Pace, has said there is “no chance” of the U.S. going to war with Iran.
In addition, a story that’s set to break next week at the Intelligence Summit in Tampa reveals that Saddam had an active nuke program in 2002 and 2003. During the last six months of 2002, Saddam apparently built four very expensive nuclear storage and production facilities underneath the Euphrates River. Let’s see how this is played in the media.
